The images in this portfolio were captured over a large part of North America during the last seven years.  They are representative of a varied stock list. The majority of the birds were photographed in the Gulf States. Most of the large mammals were photographed in Rocky Mountain states, Canada, and Alaska. Some of the Landscapes were captured at a Hacienda, in Mexico, that was built in 1665. You may recognize several images of species native to the Rio Grande Valley. In 2004 I was pleased and honored to win First Grand Prize and Best of Contest in the Digital Division of the South Texas Shootout wildlife photo contest. Again I was honored when my partner Ruth Hoyt and I won First Grand Prize in the 2007 Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo contest . The Coastal Bend Contest is one of three prestigious wildlife photography contests held in the United States.
